Fred W. Jordan came to Idaho in 1879 and
settled in Boise. He primarily worked in the
cattle industry and in real estate trading.
He moved to Gooding in 1906 and ran a
drug store from 1908 to 1910. Together
with Frank Gooding, he built the
“merchants block” in Gooding that is still
tanding today. He moved back to Boise in
128 1911 and lived there until his death in 1916.
