The first drugstore and pharmacy in Minidoka County opened in 1903-04, and was called,
Rupert Drug Co. It was owned and operated by Wilson Bowlby. Originally, a small wooden
framed structure located in the middle of the block on the west side of the Square. In 1911,
it was purchased by Elmer Fisher and O.H. Marsh and renamed to, The Rupert Pharmacy.
