Dr. William H. Baugh was a well-known physician and
druggist of Shoshone. A native of Missouri, he was born in
Boonville, July 28, 1864. Dr. Baugh acquired his medical
education in the Missouri Medical College, at St. Louis,
where he was graduated in the class of 1891. For two years
he practiced in that state and then came to Idaho, forming a
partnership with Dr. Smith, at Mountain Home. He then
moved to Shoshone and established the only drug store in
the town as well as serving as the local physician and
surgeon for the Short Line Railroad Company.
