In early July 1902 Oreus B.
Truesdall was granted a
liquor license and opened his
store/saloon at 601 N. Ninth
at 8:00 Saturday morning on
July 12. After about a year
and a half he sold out to
Plowman & Smith, who after
only about a year of
ownership sold to N. C.
Larsen who moved the store
to 1110 Main St..
The store went bankrupt in
the summer of 1915.
